The CFO's 5th Annual IT Value Conference will be held at the
Hyatt Regency Embarcadero, San Francisco, CA on September 26-29, 2004.

Keynote Addresses:
Howard Schmidt, Chief Security Officer of eBay, will explore how as supply chains become more complex and business partners become more connected, IT security is increasingly the concern of the CFO, and is near the top of corporate agendas around the globe. Mr. Schmidt, who came to eBay in May 2003 from the White House where he was special advisor on cyber security, was instrumental in drafting the National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace. He will discuss the challenges he currently faces at eBay and his resolutions to those challenges: protecting intellectual property, protection from hackers, viruses, electronic procurement, identity fraud, phishing, and more. He will also discuss his relationship with the CIO/CFO and measurement systems he has in place to gauge return on security investments.

Warren Jenson, CFO of Electronic Arts, will discuss how an activist CFO can help a company define a vision and build a roadmap to success. The CFO can help build consensus within the organization, provide extra resources and keep score on how the team is performing against key objectives. Most of all, the CFO can be an agent of change helping the organization anticipate challenges.

Randy Pond, SVP of Operations, Processes, and Systems at Cisco Systems, will examine how companies can leverage productivity in IT as a vehicle to drive growth, increase innovation, and manage operating expenses. Companies such as Cisco are strategically evolving their businesses from functional and silo based enterprises to process-driven and cross-functionally aligned enterprises. Building foundational systems and coordinating IT portfolios will enable companies to create intelligent information networks that will support business-critical.
