I'm driving. How do I get to the Charleston Place Hotel?
DIRECTIONS FROM CHARLESTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Get on I-526 East toward Mount Pleasant. Keep right and exit onto I-26 East to Charleston. Stay on I-26 until the end, where you will need to move into the far-left lane to take the Meeting Street/Visitors Center exit. Follow the exit as it curves to the right onto Meeting Street. You will go through eight traffic lights; once you cross the Hasell Street intersection look for the main entrance of hotel on your right. There is a city parking facility adjacent to the hotel for your convenience.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH
Take I-95 South until you intersect with I-26 East. Continue on I-26 until you are in the city limits of Charleston. Look for the sign reading "I-26 Ends 1 Mile." At this point, the interstate will be four lanes wide. Get into the far left-hand lane and take the Meeting Street/Visitor Center exit, which will go right onto Meeting Street. Continue South on Meeting Street for approximately one mile. Charleston Place is on the right hand corner of Meeting and Market Streets.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE SOUTH
From I-95 North, exit onto US Highway 17 (Exit 33 in Point South, South Carolina). Continue North on Highway 17 for about one hour until you enter the city limits of Charleston. Cross over the Ashley River Bridges and proceed to the right hand lanes. At the base of the bridge, you will bear to your right onto Lockwood Boulevard. Continue on Lockwood until it makes a natural left hand turn and becomes Broad Street. Continue East on Broad Street for approximately eight blocks. Turn Left onto Meeting Street. Follow Meeting Street North for four blocks. Once you cross the intersection of Market and Meeting Streets, the main entrance of the hotel will be on your left.
